Sugar export
The Government authorized the export of 650 thousand quintals (qq) of sugar. The  measure falls short to the Bolivian sugar industry; sugar cane growers and sugar mills  planned to put in the external market around 2.6 million qq. [how will they pay out their loans and still continue to be in business for next season?]

The Executive government agreed by Decree, that by this weekend, they will give green light for the export. [populist measure that damages the Bolivian consumer over the long run, as proved in past years] Export sales could occur by the second half of December, although this depends on the agility of the procedures involved in the sugar mills. [very typical of a populist/leftist government: give you trouble and aside of being grateful, it is up to you now to cope with my bureaucracy; instead they could have at least gotten ready all the paperwork before hand… so much for this government’s inefficiencies…]

After the road and international borders blockade by the heavy load transportation

The agreement made on Tuesday 29, between carriers and the Government showed that the value table value by the office of tax policy remains as before; although it is established that the applicable depreciation factor will be the 20% per year for the next eight years, a change on the five years as before.

In this regard, the President of the departmental Chamber of heavy transport of La Paz, Álvaro Ayllón, explained that if before the owners had to pay for a three-axle semi-trailer the sum of us $1,360, now they will have to cancel only us $696, which represents a reduction of 49%. [a sad outcome after long days where people lost time and money been stranded in the roads, Bolivians cannot learn to negotiate and come to the same result without blockades, strikes… both sides should know better!! this type of issues border anarchy, people/interests do only care for themselves and government does not evolve and come up with better management; please go attend and pass negotiation and conflict resolution classes!!]
