This cartoon is from La Razon, December 16, 2011. A bunch of cooks around the pot labelled ‘state’ … only one arguing “But don’t eat the dow! with what are we going to cook?” and one of the other cooks, replies “hum, I bet he is one of the infiltrated…”

The word infiltrated was initially used by current government officials when finger-pointing to a scape goat, blaming on those technicians for poor state-owned enterprises’ performance.

This cartoon is in direct relationship with the fact that current government uses more of the public revenues for their own consumption rather than investing on health, education, productivity, et al. An earlier post showed the analysis made by Jubileo Foundation, please check this link.
