This is from El Diario, January 14, 2012; it shows how the media is been surrounded by the government and their “social movement” groups… there is the press being “captured.” freedom of expression is under fire while the “authority” is just watching complacently.

After the “show” that current government set up in a meeting of their own groups, portrayed as “independent” organizations, one of the issues that “appeared” was that a law that may regulate the work of the press will give control over those “social movements’ to control the press. Bolivia has lost the independence of the three government powers, the executive branch pretty much controls the judicial and legislative powers. Now, the freedom of expression and freedom of speech is also in jeopardy!!
