UPDATE: snow Potosi; TIPNIS; blockade La Paz

Snow in Potosi: Some Swiss tourist were rescued by the military, they were at the “Ojo de Perdiz” Hotel in the vicinity of Silala. Another undetermined number of Canadian tourists are reported to be stranded by the Red Lagoon, and expected to be rescued soon, too.

TIPNIS: Indigenous groups have decided to go on a protest march from the park to La Paz, they will not say when this will start. They have declared emergency while the government keeps the intention to build the road.

Road blockade El Alto – La Paz: As of 14:20 today blockade continues. There are no buses going to Oruro, Cochabamba or Santa Cruz. Gasoline and diesel are not reaching the stations in La Paz.
