Likely overflows of 14 rivers

• The flood of rivers would occur in Beni, Cochabamba and La Paz

The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) launched an orange-level hydrological alert for the rainfall of considerable magnitude that is occurring in the Mamoré basins, the upper basin of the Beni river.

Expected flooding is expected in 14 rivers until Monday, January 8: Ichilo, Chapare, Isiboro, Ivirgarzama, Chimore, Secure, Tijamuchi, Alto Beni, Tipuani, Mapiri, Coroico, Beni, Pirai and Yapacani.

HYDROLOGICAL ALERT

For the level of the Ichilo river, level rises are expected with possible overflows in areas close to the populations of: Puerto Villarroel, Entre Rios, Bulo Bulo, Chimoré and nearby communities.

For the level of the Chapare River, level ascents are expected with possible overflows in areas close to the populations of: Villa Tunari, Sinahota and nearby communities.

For the level of the Isiboro River, promotions are expected with possible level overflows in areas close to the towns of: Gundonovia, San Miguelito de Isiboro, Puerto San Francisco, Santa Rosa and Santa Teresa.

For the level of the Ivirgarzama river, promotions are expected with possible level overflows that will affect nearby towns.

For the level of the Chimoré River, rise is expected with possible level overflows that will affect nearby towns.

For the Sécure river level, rise is expected with possible level overflows in areas close to the towns of Totora and nearby communities.

For the level of the Tijamuchi River, rise is expected with possible level overflows in areas close to the towns of San Lorenzo de Moxos and nearby communities.

For the level of the Alto Beni river, level ascents are expected with possible overflows in areas close to the towns of Palos Blancos and nearby communities.

For the level of the Tipuani river, level ascents are expected with possible overflows in areas close to the towns of Guanay and nearby communities.

For the level of the Mapiri River, level ascents are expected with possible overflows in areas close to the populations of: Guanay, Angosto Quercano, Mapiri and nearby communities.

For the level of the Coroico River, level ascents are expected with possible overflows in areas close to the populations of: Caranavi, Santa Rita de Buenos Aires and nearby communities.
