A Dutch family strained in the green lagoon will be rescued very soon, as stated by the Governor of Potosi. The number of tourists unde the same predicament is unknown. Bolivian Thoughts… will continue to report as information becomes available.

To take into account: it is not the fault of Bolivia alone that there are unknown number of tourists in that region: the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve. A large number of tourists go inside that park, directly from Chile; there are some tourist companies in Chile that even advertise this beautiful place as being Chilean. They come and go as they please.
