July 11, 2011: Blockades in El Alto stopped the traffic from the rest of Bolivia (Oruro, Potosi, Cochabamaba, Santa Cruz) with La Paz. People from Ventilla are blockading the streets and avenues, this neighborhood is requesting water, sewage, better roads and natural gas for their homes.

Senkata is also blocked, so there is uncertainty that gasoline and liquid gas will reach La Paz market. There is an estimate that La Paz consumes on a daily average: “one million gasoline liters, 700,000 diesel liters and 40,000 units of liquid gas (ten kilograms). Senkata warehouse has reserves of around seven million liters of gasoline and four million diesel liters.
