Started around 8:00 hours this morning. Around 500 people blockaded not only the road between Santa Cruz – Chapare – La Paz, but also to the northern productive agricultural area of this beautiful department. Blockade also affected the entrance to the Viru Viru International Airport.

People are demanding that current Mayor of Warnes resigns from office. A number of unmet expectations such as infrastructure of diverse sort and an excess of property taxes are the source of the conflict.
