Specialists: Joint State-population action is required to stop illegal mining

La Paz, December 22, 2023 (ANF).- To stop illegal mining, particularly gold mining, which has been plundering and appropriating the country’s natural resources, specialists on the subject indicated that the population of the different regions, where cooperatives operate, together with the State, enforce the regulations in the face of the failure of the supervisory bodies.
“The supervisory bodies do not really reach all regions, which is why a generalized will of the Bolivian people is required, particularly in the regions where gold is exploited, to take joint action and really stop illegal exploitation and enforce the rules.” that govern mining activity,” José Pimentel, former Minister of Mining, told ANF.

Los cooperativistas tienen diputados, senadores, representantes en las secretarías de minas de las gobernaciones, imponen autoridades en Senarecom, en AJAM, en Sergeomin.
La Paz, 22 de diciembre de 2023 (ANF).- Para parar la minería ilegal, en particular la del oro, que viene saqueando y apropiándose de los recursos naturales del país, especialistas en el tema señalaron que se requiere que la población de las diferentes regiones, donde operan las cooperativas, junto al Estado hagan cumplir las normas ante el fracaso de los órganos fiscalizadores.
“Los órganos fiscalizadores realmente no llegan a todas las regiones, por eso se requiere una voluntad generalizada de pueblo boliviano, particularmente de las regiones donde hay la explotación del oro, para hacer una acción mancomunada y realmente parar la explotación ilegal y hacer cumplir las normas que rigen la actividad minera”, dijo a ANF José Pimentel, en exministro de Minería.
