The special combat force against drug trafficking (FELCN) seized last weekend in El Alto international airport, an official from the Ministry of Cultures was apprehended carrying 28 grams of marijuana, according to police sources.

This occurred on Sunday, November 13 when Paola Rivas, head of the unit for the coordination of departmental councils for culture, dependent of the Ministry of Cultures, was preparing to board an AeroSur aircraft, on her way to the city of Sucre.

According to ERBOL, the staff member had marijuana hidden in one of the heels of her shoes, which was detected by the anti-drug troops with the help of some dogs. This is  now in the process of investigation, carried out by the public prosecutor’s Office and the case is been handled discretely.
