El Diario, reports today that corn production in Santa Cruz has doubled!!

Corn used for poultry and hogs have doubled its production; seven communities in Lagunillas and Charagua, from Alto Parapeti region in Santa Cruz. For the first time doubled their 2.1 ton production per hectare to 4.1. As a result of a better use of the land and certified seed.
