Here, some solid proof that current Bolivian gov doesn’t know what they’re doing… inepts!!

Humberto Vacaflor writes in El Deber:

Govern meditating

Humberto VacaflorVery few economic measures taken by the Government, but it boasts of having created the boom. Change oil contracts (and call it nationalization), looking with eyes of approval the assault on mining companies and now farms in production, have turned the SIN as an instrument of torture in the increasingly fewer taxpayers, are some of its contributions. Benefited from high commodity prices, have the self-confidence of someone who have won the jackpot without buying the ticket (the MAS opposed to the IDH tax when it was approved by Hormando Vaca Diez). They have copied the Bonosol of the MNR and the school scholarship of José Luis Paredes. And that would be all. The only successful economic measure that took, the 2010 gasolinazo [humongous tax on gasoline prices], lasted a few hours. It became clear that he prefers the demagoguery before the economy.

And now he launches the double bonus with proselytizing angle. It does so in full campaign of the BCB to remove liquidity from the market and not realize that they are falling into a contradiction. That same day he was approving an additional tax on imports of motor vehicles to give aid to the distressed TGN. A week before this measure, launched the sector Minister, a warning to Santa Cruz entrepreneurs from strains that are expected by 2014. Zero in coherence. And it has unleashed a storm. Retirees feel discriminated against and employers ask for credits or time limits, since the measure was surprising. The storm is growing and bare some failures of the economy such as the delay in the return of the Cedein.

When it is meant to govern, to take initiatives in the economy, this Government is a factory of blunders. Has let the time go to announce the reversal of the measure and blame it on entrepreneurs and their “million-dollar profits”. You must now approve deadlines, in-kind payments, credits for employers, compensation. The Government has reasons to begin to suspect that the economy is not a two-dish balance. And make other discoveries. They would have to hurry.
