Following the Supreme Court’s directive, the presidential candidate of the Libre Alliance stated that this is a step toward restoring justice for political prisoners and the politically persecuted
Jorge “Tuto” Quiroga is the presidential candidate for the Libre Alliance
After the Supreme Court of Justice issued an order to review the cases against Luis Fernando Camacho, Jeanine Áñez, and Marco Pumari, Quiroga declared that former president Jeanine Áñez, Santa Cruz governor Luis Fernando Camacho, and former Potosí civic leader Marco Antonio Pumari should be allowed to defend themselves in freedom.
“This is progress. Elections have consequences. Never again prison without sentencing for opponents who think differently. Never again the kidnapping of an elected governor,” the candidate said in response to the Supreme Court’s directive.

Tras el instructivo del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia para revisar los procesos que hay contra Luis Fernando Camacho, Jeanine Añez y Marco Pumari, el candidato presidencial de la Alianza Libre, Jorge Tuto Quiroga, manifestó que la expresidenta Jeanine Áñez, el gobernador cruceño Luis Fernando Camacho y el excìvico potosino Marco Antonio Pumari deben defenderse en libertad.
“Es un avance, las elecciones tienen consecuencias, nunca más cárcel sin sentencia para opositores por pensar diferente, nunca más secuestrar a un gobernador elegido sostuvo el candidato ante el instructivo del TSJ.
