Congressman assures
Recalling that the current government received more than 4.5 billion dollars in loans and despite this the economic crisis in the country is worsening, the deputy for the Creemos group, Walthy Egüez, reiterated that the opposition benches will not approve any credit while the economic model is not changed and the capacity of oversight of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly (ALP) is not restored.
“We will not approve the credits for two reasons; first, from a constitutional court the ALP has been cut off from its capacity to question and censure corrupt ministers and we will not allow it to legislate. We will not inject money into a bottomless barrel while the economic model is not changed,” Egüez emphasized.
These statements take place after the National Council of Autonomies announced its meeting with the government on January 27, in Sucre, where one of its agenda items is to demand that the Plurinational Legislative Assembly approve external credits.
In this context, the Creemos legislator pointed out that as long as there is no change in the economic model that ensures economic reactivation, solutions to the fuel problem and the existence of dollars in the domestic market
“We are not going to approve any credit as long as they do not change their failed economic model that does not reactivate the economy, the only thing it does is steal money,” he questioned.
Last week, the Vice Minister of Autonomies, Álvaro Ruiz, reported that a meeting of the National Council of Autonomies is scheduled for next January 27 in the capital of the State, in the meeting the issue of projects for the Bicentennial of Bolivia and the stagnant credits in the ALP will be addressed.

Recordando que el actual gobierno recibió más de 4.500 millones de dólares en créditos y pese a ello la crisis económica en el país se agudiza, el diputado por la agrupación Creemos, Walthy Egüez, reiteró que las bancadas de oposición no aprobarán ningún crédito mientras no se cambie el modelo económico y restituya la capacidad de fiscalización de la Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional (ALP).
“No vamos aprobar los créditos por dos razones; primero, desde una sala constitucional se ha cortado a la ALP su capacidad de interpelar y censurar a los ministros corruptos y legislar no lo vamos a permitir. No vamos a inyectar dinero a un barril sin fondo mientras no se cambie de modelo económico”, enfatizó Egüez.
Estas declaraciones tienen lugar luego de que el Consejo Nacional de Autonomías anunciara su encuentro con el gobierno el próximo 27 de enero, en Sucre, donde uno de sus temas de agenda prevé exigir a la Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional la aprobación de créditos externos.
En ese contexto, el legislador de Creemos señaló que mientras no haya un cambio de modelo económico que asegure la reactivación económica, soluciones al problema de los combustibles y la existencia de dólares en el mercado interno
“No vamos a aprobar ningún crédito mientras no cambien su modelo económico fracasado que no reactiva la economía, lo único que hace es robarse la plata”, cuestionó.
La semana pasada, el viceministro de Autonomías, Álvaro Ruiz, informó que se tiene prevista una reunión del Consejo Nacional de Autonomías para el próximo 27 de enero en la capital del Estado, en el encuentro se abordará el tema de proyectos por el Bicentenario de Bolivia y los créditos estancados en la ALP.
