The CAO proposes a registry of encroachers and that the law be applied against them
The Eastern Agricultural Chamber (CAO) proposed the creation of a registry of encroachers and that the law be applied against people who commit such crimes. The request comes after a group of intercultural people threatened to kill the entrepreneurs of Las Londras.
“We urge the creation of a public registry that identifies individuals who have participated in the illegal occupation of properties, both private and public,” says a statement from the institution.
Pointed out that the purpose of the proposal is that violent seizures of private lands do not go unpunished.
“We express our concern about the increase in violence and legal insecurity for Bolivians; it is not possible that armed attacks and threats with firearms become a recurring action that puts our peaceful coexistence at risk,” reads the institution’s report.
Last Saturday there was a confrontation that left one person dead. According to reports, a group of intercultural people from San Julián ambushed community members.
After these incidents, the interculturalists issued “death sentences” for the entrepreneurs of Las Londras and gave them 48 hours to leave said properties.
For this reason, the producers indicated that “it is imperative that the rule of law prevails and that actions that threaten the security of citizens and the stability of communities are stopped, since respect for the law is fundamental in a democratic society.” and it must be the framework within which all conflicts are managed.”

La CAO plantea un registro de avasalladores y que se aplique la ley contra ellos
La Cámara Agropecuaria del Oriente (CAO) planteó la creación de un registro de avasalladores y que se aplique la ley contra las personas que cometen tales delitos. El pedido se da luego de un grupo de interculturales amenazaran de muerte a los empresarios de Las Londras.
“Instamos a la creación de un registro público que identifique a individuos que han participado en la ocupación ilegal de propiedades, tanto privadas como fiscales”, señala un comunicado de la institución.
Señaló que la finalidad de la propuesta es que las tomas violentas de tierras privadas no queden en la impunidad.
“Expresamos nuestra preocupación por el incremento de la violencia y de la inseguridad jurídica para los bolivianos; no es posible que los ataques armados y las amenazas con armas de fuego se conviertan en una recurrente acción que pone en riesgo nuestra convivencia pacífica”, reza el reporte de la institución.
El pasado sábado se produjo un enfrentamiento que dejó una persona fallecida. Según reportes, un grupo de interculturales de San Julián emboscaron a comunarios.
Tras esos incidentes, los interculturales lanzaron “condenas de muertes” para los empresarios de Las Londras y les dieron 48 horas para dejar dichos predios.
Por tal motivo, los productores indicaron que “es imperativo que el Estado de Derecho prevalezca y que las acciones que amenazan la seguridad de los ciudadanos y la estabilidad de las comunidades sean detenidas, ya que el respeto a la ley es fundamental en una sociedad democrática y debe ser el marco dentro del cual se gestionen todos los conflictos”.
