They see cynicism in statements

Questioning the words of the President of the State, Luis Arce Catacora, who from Chile stated that his government deplores any attitude against democracy, former President Jeanine Añez, reproached the “cynicism” of the authority, recalling that the Movement towards Socialism (MAS ) carried out electoral fraud in 2019, in addition to creating a power vacuum through a coup d’état.

From her social networks, the former president criticized the criteria expressed by Arce in relation to the “modern forms of coup d’état” and her government’s rejection of any attitude that goes against democracy, pointing out that the president denies everything he experienced in the country in 2019, after the electoral fraud.

Likewise, she maintained that the same strategy is currently applied to cause a power vacuum in the Judicial Branch, with all the consequences that this may have for the country.

“A lot of cynicism from Luis Arce in Chile talking about coups d’état when in Bolivia the Movement towards Socialism regime, led by Evo Morales, forged the 2019 electoral fraud and attempted a coup d’état with violence and a power vacuum. Right now they repeat the lack of power of the Judicial Branch,” Añez expressed from her account on the social network X.

Yesterday, from the La Moneda palace in Santiago de Chile, during his participation in the events for the 50 years of the coup d’état against Salvador Allende, President Luis Arce, highlighted the former Chilean president, ensuring that he deplores “any type of attitude against of democracy, not only coups d’état, but the modern way of carrying out coups d’état, through assemblies or parliaments, through the judicial body, through all the instances that want to violate democracy.”
