Bolivian gov with THE worst reputation ever!!

Humberto Vacaflor writes in El Deber:

Sad fame of the country

Humberto VacaflorA Senator who must flee the country with the help of a Brazilian diplomat and entrepreneur of us who escaped in a strange operation, mixture of kidnapping and bribery. The fame of the Bolivian justice is at its worst, with failures that are questioned by the Government, a Minister of the Constitutional Court, which is threatened by saying that the double moral is re-election illegal and drug traffickers who are free, as the Terán sisters, only because they are the party of this.

The first information about the departure of Jacob Östreicher appeared on the outside, leaving a wide range of possibilities: to) ran the country mocking the authorities; b) ran away from the country in an economic arrangement with the authorities; c) was abducted and then released abroad after payment of the ransom; (d) the Government did not know how to get rid of this hot potato and accepted, or suggested, the solution of the leak. Any of these possibilities is an embarrassment to Bolivia. It was already a shame that the President ordered to grant him house arrest, bypassing the judicial structure.

The biggest shame was covered with a blanket of silence: the property of Östreicher had been dismantled during his time in prison and the authorities in charge had sold on the sly last rice harvest. The man has lost $us 40 million which brought to invest and spend their last days in a land that you had said that it was promising. Other entrepreneurs are examining whether to do the same, because their lands have been raided. Instead of giving peace of mind to investors who produce food, the President said that the lands he has in Chapare did not have a normal transfer. And that when the owners, with papers in hand, the Union supported it to him. A Union that has more authority that justice and the INRA. What is worrying is that perhaps the case Östreicher is the signal for all investors. Flee now, until things are more complicated.
