It is unbelievable how a president who claimed to rule with the people, has decided to talk to those indigenous people who left the protest walk, and not with the group who is marching towards La Paz.

The TIPNIS protest marchers have decided to continue to walk; it has been said that the police will stop the group prior to the Yucumo blockade, the official word is that it is an effort to avoid confrontation; but nothing is done on the other end, where around 2,000 coca growers (settlers) who support the government are blockading [so it just appears as an effort to stop the march, nothing else]. The group is questioning how that road was approved without having the consultations as it is a mandate by law. Human Right’s defender said the settlers are provoking, calling for violence.
