According to data released this Friday, July 11, 2025, by the specialized portal dolarboliviahoy.com, the U.S. dollar is trading in the parallel market at a selling price of 14.91 BOB and a buying price of 14.99 BOB.

These figures represent a decrease compared to the previous day’s rate, when the parallel dollar stood at 15.02 BOB for selling and 15.08 BOB for buying.

The foreign currency in its parallel rate has seen some changes in recent weeks. It’s worth recalling that last June it even reached 14.00 BOB, one of the lowest figures, considering that during this year it had gone as high as 20 BOB per dollar.

The parallel dollar’s fluctuations are closely monitored by the Bolivian population, given the restrictions on access to U.S. currency through official channels.

Meanwhile, according to data obtained from the site https://bolivianblue.net/#google_vignette, the Bolivian blue dollar, which is updated every 15 minutes, is trading this Friday at 15.07 BOB for buying and 14.90 BOB for selling.
