Anti-drug operations managed to destroy mobile cocaine labs in Chapare.

In response to announcements by leaders of the six coca grower federations from the tropics of Cochabamba about creating their own banking entity, Senator Erik Morón from the Creemos group stated that these types of “confessions” show that the U.S. dollars missing from the Bolivian state are circulating in Chapare, in addition to drug trafficking proceeds used to sustain the territorial stronghold of the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS).

“With this confession, there is no need for further proof. The ‘Evismo’ has confirmed that the dollars stolen from Bolivians are in Chapare and that they will open their own banks. In addition to this confession, it is reaffirmed that drug trafficking money moves within the mini-republics of the fugitive Evo Morales,” he stated.

Meanwhile, parliamentarians such as La Paz deputy Alberto Astorga criticized the fact that once again the Chapare leadership openly announces its intention to launder resources of dubious origin through the creation of a financial institution.
