About Artecampo

The Association of Rural Artisans (Artecampo), established in 1985, consists of 14 groups of artisans from Bolivia’s eastern region. Its mission is to serve as a bridge of solidarity and communication between rural and urban areas by directly marketing products made in rural areas to urban consumers.

The Center for Research, Artisan Design, and Cooperative Marketing (CIDAC) is an institution aimed at preserving craftsmanship, experimenting with design, providing training, and supporting the recognition of Indigenous women as income generators for their communities, as well as inheritors, creators, and transmitters of culture.
