The National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH), through a resolution issued on October 4, announced an increase in the prices of Premium Plus and Ultra Premium 100 gasoline. These new prices are effective starting from the last quarter of the year (October, November, and December) until the next update.

Premium Plus gasoline previously cost Bs 5.71 per liter, and with the increase, it is now Bs 6.18. Meanwhile, the price of Ultra Premium 100 rose from Bs 6.73 to Bs 6.82 per liter.

However, the ANH, quoted by Red Uno, stated that the cost of Premium Plus and Ultra Premium 100 gasoline is subject to variations in international oil prices, which could lead to future adjustments.

With this new regulation, Bolivia now has five types of gasoline available in the market: Regular Gasoline, Special Plus, Super 92, Premium, and Premium Plus.

Mid-range and high-end vehicles, which are often designed to run on higher-octane fuels, will particularly benefit from these fuels. Premium Plus offers greater energy efficiency and power.
