CITRUS ARE THREATENED BY THE HLV
The Huanglongbing [news had it as: Huanglongbind] disease, better known as HLB, became a real threat to citrus production in the country, because it has already affected production in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
In this regard, the National Agricultural Health and Food Safety (SENASAG) ordered strict border controls to prevent the entry of seedlings of lime, lemon, tangerine and grapefruit.
According to the report notiboliviarural.com portal, the 
National Health coordinator Plant Health Program of SENASAG Jhonny Villagomez, said the HLB disease, Asian, threatening to enter the country, while in neighboring countries generated significant losses in citrus production, a contingency plan, for protection is underway.
The word is out, now is the time for the central government to respond and prevent this from happening!
