Uncontrolled fires: Two new fire sources add to the uncontrolled fire that has been burning for the last 15 days in the Sararenda mountain. There are oil wells there in jeopardy. Fire originated south-west of Camiri; 25 kilometers away from the Guairuy oil camp.

Fexpocruz 2011: Bolivian showcase resulted in $243 million dollars traded during the 10 days the international fair opened in Santa Cruz. There were 2,250 stands displaying industrial machinery/crafts/cattle and consumer goods.
