The municipality of Toro Toro consolidated this month the incorporation of paragliding as its newest tourism product. The activity was officially inaugurated at the viewpoint of the Hacienda Loma community, a strategic spot that now serves as a takeoff zone for visitors.

The objective of this initiative is to diversify the National Park’s offer, adding high-altitude flights to the traditional and adventure attractions, such as the descent into the Vergel Canyon, the exploration of the Umajalanta cave, and the tour of the millenary dinosaur footprints. This new service is the result of a coordinated effort between the administration of Toro Toro National Park, the communities of Hacienda Loma, Sucusuma, and Rancho Pampa, and the specialized company AndesXtremo.

To guarantee tourist safety, the National Park reported that all pilots are certified professionals with an APPI Tandem license (Association of Paragliding Pilots and Instructors). This accreditation validates the skills and experience required to offer safe flights, allowing travelers to enjoy a unique aerial perspective over the emblematic “Land of the Dinosaurs.” The invitation is open to all Bolivians and foreigners who wish to take an adventure trip to this site.
