The parade began late and Queen Aitana I began her tour shortly before midnight. There were problems in the organization, but the joy was total. The three days of wetness begin today
Colour, elegance and a splurgge of joy is what the Carnival troupes showed in the Santa Cruz parade, where Aitana Tufiño was the main protagonist
The bands made each of the people from Santa Cruz who attended the Cambódromo dance. In jackets, with impeccable suits and even in cars, the comparseros received the highest marks.
The majestic cars and the queens of the Carnival troupes were the most anticipated by adults and children who gave them applause as they passed.
Thus, the Big Festival of the people of Santa Cruz was present. From 6:00 p.m. people were arriving, the weather helped, being cloudy and with a constant cool breeze.
Around 7:00 p.m. the party started. The first ballets came to the stage and with them the oriental rhythms, color, experience and youth.
The green and white was a constant, as well as the beauty and gallantry of the dancers who, with their mischief, infected an audience that at around 9:00 p.m. was already a lively and happy crowd.
But…as a chronic problem, the program and schedules of the parade changed. The queen’s passage was made to wait for more than two hours. What happened?
The usual and what needs to be changed. The Carnival troupes that were stationed began to enter the queen’s route, which caused the progress not to be rapid and there to be a significant delay. Despite this ‘slip’, when Aitana appeared, everything was forgotten and the Big Festival of the people of Santa Cruz began to thunder.
Scenery. The Cambódromo dressed up. The public was present en masse. Organizational problems were the low mark of the event
The choreographic troupes from Santa Cruz stand out
The party began after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday when the Bolivian Police presented their queen. From then on the different choreographic Carnival troupes made their way through the Cambódromo.
The ballet Paso Adelante with Gisela Santa Cruz, brought her joy, followed by the Mitahori ballet that with its color and enthusiasm infected the public who slowly filled the chairs distributed throughout the Cambódromo.
The people who gathered at 6:00 p.m. began to enjoy the carnival proposal of the different ballets that appealed to the oriental tradition, something very well received. Thus the big celebration of the people of Santa Cruz began.
El corso comenzó con demora y la reina Aitana I comenzó su recorrido poco antes de la medianoche. Hubo problemas en la organización, pero la alegría fue total. Comienza hoy los tres días de mojazón
Colorido, elegancia y derroche de alegría es lo que las comparsas mostraron en el corso cruceño, donde Aitana Tufiño fue la gran protagonista
Las bandas hicieron bailar a cada uno de los cruceños quienes asistieron al Cambódromo. De casacas, con impecables trajes y hasta en auto los comparseros se llevaron la nota máxima.
Los majestuosos carros y las reinas de comparsas fueron los más esperados por grandes y chicos quienes le regalaron aplausos a su paso.
Así, la Fiesta Grande de los cruceños se hizo presente. Desde las 18:00 horas las personas fueron llegando, el clima ayudo, al estar nublado y con una constante brisa fresca.
Alrededor de las 19:00 empezó la fiesta. Los primeros ballet salieron al escenario y con ellos los ritmos orientales, el colorido, la experiencia y la juventud.
El verde y blanco fue una constante, como así también la belleza y el galanterio de los bailarines que con su picardía contagiaron a un público que a eso de las 21:00 ya era una muchedumbre animada y alegre.
Pero…como un problema crónico, el programa y los horarios del corso cambiaron. El paso de la reina se hizo esperar por más de dos horas ¿Qué paso?
Lo de siempre y lo que se quiere cambiar. Las comparsas que estaban apostadas empezaron a entrar en el recorrido de la reina, lo que provocó que el avance no sea rápido y que haya un atraso importante. A pesar de este ‘desliz’ cuando Aitana apareció todo quedo en el olvido y la Fiesta Grande de los cruceños empezó a tronar.
Escenario. El Cambódromo se vistió de gala. El público de forma masiva se hizo presente. Problemas de organización fue la nota baja del evento
La comparsas coreográficas cruceñas se destacan
La fiesta comenzó pasadas las 19:00 del sábado cuando la Policía Boliviana presentó a su reina. De ahí en más las diferentes comparsas coreográficas hicieron su paso por el Cambódromo.
El ballet Paso Adelante con Gisela Santa Cruz, regalo su alegría, le siguieron el ballet Mitahori que con su colorido y entusiasmo contagio al público que lentamente fueron llenado las sillas distribuidas a lo largo del Cambódromo.
Las personas que desde las 18:00 se dieron cita empezaron a disfrutar de la propuesta carnavalera de los distintos ballets que apelaron a la tradición oriental, algo muy bien recibido. Así la fiesta grande de los cruceños daba inicio.

La fraternidad femenina Auténtikas dio realce al corso cruceño, con la presentación de su traje inspirado en la flor de Tajibo, flor característica del oriente boliviano.
