Until now, the Police have not evicted the invaders who intend to seize 26,500 hectares in the Guarayos province. The lands were declared fiscally unavailable by INRA. They have already displaced the inhabitants of five communities
The same group that invaded lands in Las Londras and kidnapped a group of journalists last year, intends to obtain by force 26,500 hectares located in the municipality of El Puente, in the Guarayos province.
This was denounced by leaders of the Pailitas Subcentral, an organization that brings together five peasant communities that were evicted by these people, headed by Paulino Camacho and Ever Sixto Canaza, people who were criminally prosecuted, but who were released by a precautionary judge.
Until now, the oppressors identified themselves as members of the Special Federation of Intercultural Communities of Agricultural Producers of San Julián Norte and even received the support of this organization through a decisive vote. They have in their power 8,500 hectares that correspond to the Pailitas Subcentral.
This was stated by the leader of that organization, Wilfredo Suárez. The farmer explained that Pailitas is made up of five communities: Chuchial, El Tigre, Las Golondrinas, 24 de Septiembre and Mil Estrellas.
Suárez maintained that his organization is part of the Single Trade Union Federation of Peasant Workers of Santa Cruz, which is affiliated with the Single Trade Union Confederation of Peasant Workers of Bolivia (Csutcb).
The leader clarified that he has been in this place for 15 years, where all the members carry out agricultural activities. Thus, he denounces that last weekend they were forcibly evicted by the group led by Camacho and Canaza, who are being prosecuted for kidnapping and threatening a group of journalists who were covering the enslavement of land in Las Londras in 2021.
These same people, according to Suárez, led the forced eviction against the five communities that are pending the process of clearing their land.
“They are from the intercultural ones. That’s where Paulino Camacho, Sixto Canaza and Elías Tejerina are involved. It is the same group that overwhelmed the properties of Las Londras”, he pointed out.
He maintained that with his parent entity they exhausted the legal resources for these people to be evicted from their lands.
“They took our communities, they burned our houses, they have taken tractors and everything that was in their path. We have all our documentation. We are in the process of cleaning up. They are grouping people to enter ‘to sweep’ the properties of Las Londras”, he said.
In November 2021, INRA made a report where it was shown that 90% of the 18,000 hectares that make up Las Londras are superimposed on the Guarayos Forest Reserve. In addition, the state entity made it clear that no one could settle on that property.
In addition, due to media pressure, the Prosecutor’s Office initiated an investigation and managed to arrest Paulino Camacho and Ever Sixto Canaza, who led this takeover and the kidnapping of journalists. However, the precautionary judge of the Guarayos province, Roberto Hurtado, decided to release them.
Álvaro Gonzales, owner of the cattle farm called Las Londras, said that they have already filed a lawsuit against Camacho, and three other people who respond to the initials of E.T., N.R., and S.H. before the Prosecutor’s Office.
“If they are not intercultural, then they are criminals,” said the producer.
Recently, the Intercultural Federation of Santa Cruz maintained that it was unaware of the people who had entered Las Londras and even announced that legal action would be taken against people who use their name to make them look bad.
Prosecutor will investigate
Yesterday, the departmental prosecutor of Santa Cruz, Róger Mariaca, reported that an investigation was opened for the crime of attempted murder for the kidnapping suffered by a 21-year-old boy, at the hands of a group of hooded armed men who last weekend, settled by force in five communities of the Pailitas Subcentral, which adjoins the Las Londras properties, in the Guarayos province.
The commander of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), Julio Cossío, pointed out that actions are being coordinated to carry out an investigation.
Asked why there is no action against the violence of this armed group, he limited himself to repeating that “it is a case that is under investigation.”

El mismo grupo que avasalló tierras en Las Londras y que secuestró a un grupo de periodistas el año pasado, pretende obtener por la fuerza 26.500 hectáreas ubicadas en el municipio de El Puente, en la provincia Guarayos.
Así lo denunciaron dirigentes de la Subcentral Pailitas, organización que agrupa a cinco comunidades campesinas que fueron desalojada por estas personas, encabezadas por Paulino Camacho y Ever Sixto Canaza, personas procesadas penalmente, pero que fueron liberadas por un juez cautelar.
Hasta el momento los avasalladores se identificaron como integrantes de la Federación de Especial de Comunidades Interculturales de Productores Agropecuarios de San Julián Norte e incluso recibieron mediante un voto resolutivo el apoyo de esta organización. Tienen en su poder 8.500 hectáreas que corresponden a la Subcentral Pailitas.
Así lo aseguro el dirigente de esa organización, Wilfredo Suárez. El campesino explicó que Pailitas está conformada por cinco comunidades: Chuchial, El Tigre, Las Golondrinas, 24 de Septiembre y Mil Estrellas.
Suárez sostuvo que su organización forma parte de Federación Sindical Única de Trabajadores Campesinos de Santa Cruz, que está afiliada a la Confederación Sindical Única de Trabajadores Campesinos de Bolivia (Csutcb).
El dirigente aclaró que desde hace 15 años se encuentra en este lugar, en donde todos los afiliados desarrollan actividades agrícolas. Así, denuncia que el pasado fin de semana fueron desalojados por la fuerza por el grupo liderado por Camacho y Canaza, que son procesados por secuestrar y amenazar a un grupo de periodistas que cubrían el avasallamiento de tierras en Las Londras en 2021.
Estas mismas personas, según Suárez, encabezaron el desalojo forzoso contra las cinco comunidades que tienen pendiente el proceso de saneamiento de sus tierras.
“Son de los interculturales. Ahí están metidos Paulino Camacho, Sixto Canaza y Elías Tejerina. Es el mismo grupo que avasalló los predios de Las Londras”, señaló.
Sostuvo que con su ente matriz agotaron los recursos legales para que estas personas sean desalojados de sus tierras.
“Tomaron nuestras comunidades, quemaron nuestras casas, se han llevado tractores y todo lo que estaba a su paso. Tenemos todas nuestras documentaciones. Estamos en proceso de saneamiento. Están agrupando gente para entrar ‘a barrer’ las propiedades de Las Londras”, dijo.
En noviembre de 2021, el INRA realizó un informe donde se dejó en evidencia que el 90% de las 18.000 hectáreas que conforman Las Londras se encuentran sobrepuestas en la Reserva Forestal de Guarayos. Además, la entidad estatal dejó en claro que nadie podía asentarse en ese predio.
Además, por presión mediática la Fiscalía inició una investigación y logró detener a Paulino Camacho y Ever Sixto Canaza, que lideraron esta toma y el secuestro de periodistas. Sin embargo, el juez cautelar de la provincia Guarayos, Roberto Hurtado, decidió liberarlos.
Álvaro Gonzales, propietario del predio ganadero denominado Las Londras, dijo que ya presentaron una demanda contra Camacho, y a otras tres personas que responden a las iniciales de E. T., N.R., y S. H. ante la Fiscalía.
“Si no son interculturales, entonces son unos delincuentes”, dijo el productor.
Recientemente la Federación de Interculturales de Santa Cruz sostuvo que desconocía a las personas que han ingresado a Las Londras e incluso anunciaron que se realizarían acciones legales contra las personas que usen su nombre para hacerlos quedar mal.
Fiscalía investigará
Ayer, el fiscal departamental de Santa Cruz, Róger Mariaca, informó que se abrió una investigación por el delito de tentativa de asesinato por el secuestro que sufrió un joven de 21 años, a manos de un grupo de encapuchados armados que el fin de semana pasado se asentaron por la fuerza en cinco comunidades de la Subcentral Pailitas, que colinda con los predios de Las Londras, en la provincia Guarayos.
El comandante de la Fuerza Especial de Lucha Contra el Crimen (Felcc), Julio Cossío, señaló que se están coordinando acciones para realizar una investigación.
Consultado del por qué no se actúa ante la violencia de este grupo armado se limitó a repetir que “es un caso que está en proceso de investigación”.
