This will be the new price of gasoline, diesel, and other hydrocarbons announced by the Government
Minister Mauricio Medinaceli explained that the new prices will come into effect as of the publication of a supreme decree that was announced by President Rodrigo Paz on Wednesday night
The Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mauricio Medinaceli, announced the new prices for hydrocarbons, including diesel and gasoline, which will take effect once the supreme decree announced by President Rodrigo Paz is published.
The new prices are as follows:
Special Gasoline: Bs 6.96 per liter.
Diesel oil: Bs 9.80 per liter.
Premium Gasoline: Bs 11 per liter.
Aviation gasoline: Bs 10.57 per liter.
Kerosene: Bs 5.64 per liter.
Jet Fuel: Bs 10.74 bolivianos per liter.
Gasoil: Bs 5.69 per liter.
LPG: unchanged, it remains Bs 22.5 bolivianos per cylinder.
CNG (vehicular natural gas): Bs 2.73 per cubic meter.
In an interview with UNITEL, the minister stated that prices will be fixed for six months and considered that maintaining the subsidy implies the return of lines at fuel stations.
“Subsidy is equal to corruption, so the solution had to be economic. We must remove the possibility of what is called arbitrage, which in simple words is the business that allows fuel to be diverted to the black market, and once again ensure the supply of gasoline, diesel, and the rest of the products to consumers in Bolivia,” he emphasized.

El ministro Mauricio Medinaceli explicó que los nuevos precios entrarán en vigencia a partir de la publicación de un decreto supremo que fue anunciado por el presidente Rodrigo Paz la noche de este miércoles
El ministro de Hidrocarburos, Mauricio Medinaceli, anunció los nuevos precios a los hidrocarburos, incluidos el diésel y la gasolina, los cuales entrarán en vigencia una vez que se publique el decreto supremo anunciado por el presidente Rodrigo Paz.
Los nuevos precios son los siguientes:
Gasolina Especial: Bs 6,96 por litro.
Diésel oil: Bs 9,80 por litro.
Gasolina Premium: Bs 11 por litro.
Gasolina de aviación: Bs 10,57 por litro.
Kerosene: Bs 5,64 por litro.
Jet Fuel: Bs 10,74 bolivianos por litro.
Gasoil: Bs 5,69 por litro.
GLP: no cambia, se mantiene Bs 22,5 bolivianos la garrafa.
GNV (gas natural vehicular): Bs 2,73 por metro cúbico.
En entrevista con UNITEL, el ministro manifestó que durante seis meses se tendrán precios fijos y consideró que el mantener la subvención implica el retorno de las filas a los surtidores.
“Subvención es igual a corrupción, entonces, la solución tenía que ser económica. Debemos quitar la posibilidad de lo que se llama arbitraje, que en palabras simples es el negocio para que ya no se desvíe el combustible hacia el mercado negro y nuevamente asegurar la provisión de gasolina, diésel y el resto de productos a las a los consumidores en Bolivia”, recalcó.
