The Evils of Arce | Las maldades de Arce

By Bajo el Penoco, El Dia:

Luis Arce takes pleasure in believing that he is harming the regions of eastern Bolivia by building a cereal and almond processing plant in the heart of the highlands, with the same spite that his boss invested over a billion dollars in a urea plant in Chapare and a similar amount in the San Buenaventura sugar mill, where there is no raw material, and the project is doomed to failure.

For these massive structures to operate, they require extraordinary sums of money for transportation and logistics, both to bring in the raw materials and to distribute the final product to the markets, an absurdity explained only by hatred.

However, contrary to what Arce believes, the cruelty is not directed at the people of Santa Cruz, Beni, and Pando, but rather against the very inhabitants of the western part of the country. There is no greater vileness than damaging people’s minds, and what this regime is doing is reinforcing the state’s dependency in certain regions, and worst of all, cementing in disturbed minds the idea that statism can be a driver of development.

Meanwhile, “cunumis” and mestizos produce and prosper in Santa Cruz thanks to the “damned” private initiative. Thank you, Arce, for that love.
