🚨 URGENT: Unjust Detention of Juan Yucra! This is an attack on the right to protest.
Today [08/28/2024], the government of Luis Arce has once again demonstrated political persecution by detaining the heavy transport leader, Juan Yucra, one of the leaders of the 36-day strike for the 2024 Census.
Juan was taken to the FELCC offices in Santa Cruz this morning, in a clear attempt by the government to criminalize the right to protest and silence those who dare to fight for the rights of all Bolivians.
The cistern leadership has already taken action, warning that they will not allow any tanker to enter the Santa Cruz refinery until Yucra is released.
As Ríos de Pie, we denounce political persecution against him and demand justice and his immediate release.

URGENTE: ¡Detención Injusta de Juan Yucra! Esto es un atentado contra el derecho a la protesta.
Hoy [28/08/2024], el gobierno de Luis Arce ha dado otra muestra mas de persecución política al detener al dirigente del transporte pesado, Juan Yucra, uno de los líderes del Paro de los 36 días por el Censo 2024.
Juan fue llevado a las dependencias de la FELCC en Santa Cruz esta mañana, en un claro intento del gobierno de criminalizar el derecho a la protesta y callar a quienes se atreven a luchar por los derechos de todos los bolivianos.
La dirigencia de los cisterneros ya ha tomado acciones y advierten que no permitirán el ingreso de ninguna cisterna a la refinería cruceña hasta que Yucra sea liberado.
Como Ríos de Pie, denunciamos persecución política en su contra y exigimos justicia y su liberación inmediata.
