Collectives in Peru will denounce President’s re-nomination
A delegation of 90 people, belonging to citizen platforms, traveled today to Peru to denounce in the Summit of the Americas the pretension of President Evo Morales to eternalize in power, violating the Political Constitution of the State (CPE) and the results of the referendum of the February 21, 2016.
“The violation of the Political Constitution of the State and the vote of the sovereign, who said no to repostulation, (Evo Morales) intends to stay in power through tricks using political and judicial power, that is what we are going to denounce at the Summit of the Americas, disrespect for the democratic process,” explained Eduardo Gutiérrez, from the SOS Bolivia platform.
The activist said that more than 90 “messengers of peace”, as they were called, travel to Lima-Peru, where the VIII Summit of the Americas will be held on the 13th and 14th of the current month. Prevent the caravan arrives tomorrow, Thursday, at noon.
Since last Saturday, an advanced commission is in Lima that is making an agenda to meet with Peruvian congressmen, international delegations, local and global media, interviews with opinion leaders. In addition, a call was made to Bolivian residents in Lima so that they can join this protest.
