WB suggests Bolivia to improve human development policies

WBWith the growth of the Bolivian workforce, the World Bank (WB) recommended that the authorities improve human development policies that would allow to train citizens of working age for the next three decades.

The WB specialist Marcio Cruz, said that Bolivia has been classified as a country in its early stage of the so-called “demographic dividend”, which means it will increase the population of working age, therefore, will require job creation schemes; while Fernando Landa, from the Unit for Economic Policy Analysis (UDAPE), said 60% of the labor force works in the informal sector in the country.
