The House of Freedom [Casa de la Libertad] will implement videoguides
The service of videoguides will work with tablets, containing texts, audios and pictures of all the rooms that the Museum has.
Freedom House will from next week have the service of videoguides, allowing visitors to make a guided tour with images and audio of the rooms where they enter. The videoguides will work with interactive tablets.
“With these videoguides tourists can see images and hear the explanation given them in the different rooms of the House of liberty,” said Marcelo Thorrez, head of the unit’s Museum.
Tablets contain photographs and audio, written information and audio of all the rooms of the Casa de la Libertad in English and Quechua, “which at the moment were recorded in the portable instrument that we will put into operation, at the latest, next week”, announced Thorrez.
The head of the unit’s Museum also said that the new service is deployed by the beginning of the high season visits.
Freedom House has five guides, one of which is quechua-speaking.
Videoguides project was developed by the Casa de la Libertad, Sucre.
TABLET
The tablet, which is a laptop larger than a Smartphone, describes each room and “parts” that therein; visitors should only press the finger screen options that appear to receive information written, read and see pictures.
GUIDED TOUR
A complete visit to the Casa de la Libertad takes on average 45 minutes; it begins in the Colonial room and continues through the rooms of independence, independence soldiers [guerrilleros] and the flag of Macha.
The tour continues by the Chamber of Deputies signatories of the Act of Independence, Senate Hall and Gallery Presidency to finish in the Sala Mariscal Sucre.
ADMISSION IS FREE ON SUNDAY
On Sunday admission to Freedom House is free, from 9.00 to 12.00. Students and senior citizens do not pay regardless of the day. House of all.

MORE THAN 39,000 VISITORS IN SIX MONTHS
A total of 14,772 people, national and foreign, visited the House of freedom in the first half of the year, period, which also saw other 25,078 assistance people to various events organized in the Museum. In total they entered 39,855 citizens, 9,548 of them were foreigners.
According to data of the unit’s Museum, visitors to Latin America that increased their interest to know the House of Freedom are Argentines, especially by the flag of Macha, who is one of the symbols of that country.
European tourists, who visit more freedom House are of French origin.
