Current Bolivian Government management style

This cartoon is from El Diario, January 8, 2012. It portrays both current president and vice-president. The latter is placing a big eraser in the elbow of the former. The vice says: “with this heavy-duty eraser you will be able to erase [with the elbow] all the short laws you will sanction..” [with the hand]

In direct reference to the TIPNIS short law and the new attempts to reinstate the road that would cut the TIPNIS in half. As well as other laws that were sanctioned but never complied by current government; which happened in the last six years and will more likely to happen again. That is the way current government rules Bolivia… no wonder anarchy takes over in the form of “community justice” that has taken the lives of many people without having the benefit of a fair trial;  “illegal land takeovers” in rural and urban settings; and “indigenous rights” being violated. The Constitution itself, designed and approved by current government has not been enforced and respected by their own creators.
