Bolivian TIPNIS negotiation with the government UPDATE, 13:22 hrs

UNITEL and PAT news reported on their midday programs that the TIPNIS indigenous group and other indigenous organizations are waiting a reply from the government to their demands.

TIPNIS leaders said they do not want the government to continue with their accusations; they want eight more ministers to come to meet with them along with current president.

Government officials say they want to continue dialogue in a way to prepare a probable meeting with the president.

After 14:00 hours today, the marching group will decide, based on the reply form the government, whether they continue with the dialogue or decide to continue with the protest march towards La Paz.
