Daily robberies, narco trafficking, increasing gangs’ presence in lower-income neighborhoods, and corruption are among the causes for such appreciation. Sad reality, as security and safety in Bolivian cities are almost becoming non-existent.

Over this weekend, in Santa Cruz city, a number of municipal guards were arrested by the police force… the cause? Those guards were keeping the traffic flow near a crowded market (La Ramada), people wonder… those guys were arrested because they were helping the police doing their job? why!? Is this a sort of black humor…? No, it is sad reality, it is happening…
