Sad but irrefutable evidence, coca over wildlife…

This cartoon appeared on La Razon on May 7, 2011. It is a sad description of what is going on in the Isiboro Secure, wildlife reserve and site of indigenous group who were recognized as one of the 36 nations that are part of the State of Bolivia. Coca growers and narcotraffick initiated their incursions there in mid 90s, now under the coca growers associations who back up current government, have stepped in with more force and resources. Current president of the State (no longer Republic) of Bolivia, holds the chair of the coca growers association… proudly… (as he was quoted on many occasions).
