The Bolivian Highway Administration (ABC), in its road passability report, detailed that eight sections of the main highway network are cut off due to landslides caused by the rains. Meanwhile, in another four sections there are detours or vehicle restrictions in one lane.

The ABC clarified that it administers 83 sections and that this Thursday, amid the rains, there are eight sections where traffic cannot pass. One of them is in Chuquisaca, the Puente Río Acero section.

Added to these are three routes in Santa Cruz: Tarumá in Abapó; Bermejo–La Angostura; and San Lorenzo–Salinas.

Another three sections are affected in Tarija: Itacua–La Central; Rotonda 1–Puente Curuyo; and Entre Ríos–Tacuarandi.

The final impassable section is the Marumpampa Bridge–Calzada route in La Paz.

There are three other sections with detours, two in Pando (Km 185–La Floresta and Conquista–El Sena) and one in Chuquisaca (Río Acero–Río Bartolo).

Finally, there are two sections with vehicle restrictions due to social conflicts, one in Beni (Santo Domingo–Monte Grande) and another in Cochabamba (Llavini–Bombeo).
