Bolivian singani exports grow by 18% and reach $216 million in 2025

Bolivian singani exports increased from $184 million in 2024 to $216 million in 2025, representing an 18% growth, according to data from the Bolivian Institute of Foreign Trade (IBCE).

“In 2025, singani exports experienced growth of 18% and 69% in value and volume respectively, compared to 2024,” reported the IBCE using data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

According to information provided by this institution, the volume of singani exports also rose from 39 tons (t) in 2024 to 66 tons last year, implying a growth of 69%.

In the 2025 fiscal year, the main markets for Bolivian singani exports were the United States (52%), India (19%), and Japan (11%), followed by China, the United Kingdom, and Argentina.

Likewise, 86% of Bolivian singani cargo movement last year was transported through the Tambo Quemado – Charaña – Arica route, one of the country’s most important land corridors for exports; the remaining 14% was shipped by air.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bolivia is recognized worldwide for its rich cultural heritage and for producing singani, a unique beverage of its kind with an exclusive, high-quality distilled spirit.
