The former Bolivian ambassador to Brazil, Jerjes Justiniano, recommended that the country’s new president form a co-government with the three main political forces of the brand-new Parliament as the only possibility of achieving governability and thus escaping the economic crisis; while former candidate Jaime Dunn leans toward a common anti-crisis parliamentary agenda.
Justiniano warns that, if a co-government is not achieved both in Parliament and in the Executive Branch, the next government administration will be weak and will possibly not last even a year due to the social pressure that will be exerted by Evo Morales, who is a “political animal.”
The left-wing politician points out that Luis Arce’s government will hand over an economic time bomb to his successor, just as Hernán Siles received it, protagonist of the hyperinflation; meanwhile, Dunn is certain that the country’s difficult economic situation will last between one or two years until stability is achieved, which must be preceded by the launching of economic and legal packages that will not necessarily be to the population’s liking.
A co-government is not required, but rather a common agenda in Parliament to approve the laws jointly, said Dunn while recommending that the new parliamentarians work, urgently, on important issues such as the provision of fuels, the shortage of dollars, legal security and constitutional reforms.
In an analysis of the proposals put forward by Tuto Quiroga and Rodrigo Paz, former candidate Jaime Dunn believes that the candidates agree that there is excessive public spending, that the increase of inflation must be stopped, that dollars must be obtained to return to the citizens, and also that legal security is important, furthermore there is agreement in not indicating the effects of the economic measures and in warning that the year 2026 will be complicated and that several economic indicators will deteriorate, he added.

El exembajador de Bolivia en Brasil, Jerjes Justiniano, recomendó que el nuevo presidente del país conforme un cogobierno con las tres primeras fuerzas políticas del flamante Parlamento como única posibilidad de lograr gobernabilidad y así salir de la crisis económica; mientras que el excandidato Jaime Dunn, se inclina por una agenda parlamentaria común anticrisis.
Justiniano advierte que, si no se logra el cogobierno tanto en el Parlamento como en el Poder Ejecutivo, la próxima gestión gubernamental será débil y posiblemente no durará ni un año por la presión social que ejercerá Evo Morales que es un “animal político”.
El político de izquierda señala que el gobierno de Luis Arce entregará una bomba económica a su sucesor, tal cual recibió Hernán Siles, protagonista de la hiperinflación; entretanto, Dunn se halla seguro de que la difícil situación económica del país durará entre uno o dos años hasta lograr la estabilidad que debe ser precedida con el lanzamiento de paquetes económicos y jurídicos que no necesariamente serán del agrado de la población.
No se requiere un cogobierno, sino una agenda común en el Parlamento para aprobar las leyes de forma conjunta, dijo Dunn a tiempo de recomendar a los nuevos parlamentarios trabajar, de manera urgente, en temas importantes como la provisión de combustibles, la escasez de los dólares, la seguridad jurídica y reformas constitucionales.
En un análisis de las propuestas difundidas Tuto Quiroga y Rodrigo Paz, el excandidato Jaime Dunn cree que los candidatos coinciden en que hay un gasto público en exceso, que se debe detener el incremento de la inflación, se debe conseguir dólares para devolver a los ciudadanos, y también que la seguridad jurídica es importante, además hay coincidencia en no indicar los efectos de las medidas económicas y advertir que el año 2026 será complicado y que se deteriorarán varios indicadores económicos, complementó.
