Presidential pre-candidate Jaime Dunn responded this Saturday to the former leader of the Revolutionary Nationalist Movement (MNR), Luis Eduardo Siles, stating that his candidacy “is going forward,” now with much more strength than before and with greater freedom.

“I return after having spent almost 48 hours in political discussions, obviously. My candidacy is going forward, now we must move ahead with much more strength than before, with greater freedom,” said the Voz Liberal analyst in a video he shared on X.

“One must be very careful when speaking with the old parties, especially, since there is a man who has made statements about the MNR, even though he is not a participant in the negotiations, as they call them. Someone who, instead of facilitating things, is trying to obstruct. Better days are coming and there will be surprises in the next few days,” he announced.

Dunn was responding to Siles, who this Saturday criticized and accused Dunn of breaking his “pledged word” to the MNR and ADN.

“Despite all his demands and whims being accepted in dozens of meetings, Jaime Dunn broke his pledged word to the MNR and ADN and to 7 citizen groups at the last minute, and made a pact with a new party of unknown origin. His behavior was that of an insecure character, hesitant to the point of caricature, disloyal, cunning, and underhanded. He pulled more maneuvers than 30 traditional politicians combined,” wrote Siles on the X platform.

Dunn has yet to officially announce with which party he will run in the elections, although he hinted that he is in talks with the new political party of Cochabamba businessman Edgar Uriona, Nueva Generación Patriótica (NGP).
