“Laura” is the second single from Aviónica’s new project and is now available on streaming platforms, with its music video on YouTube. It is part of a new, yet-untitled album recorded in Nashville alongside legendary drummer Aaron Sterling (who has worked with John Mayer and Taylor Swift).

“Laura” follows “Zanzibar,” released in 2024 and also available on streaming platforms. “Laura reminds me of a summer love, a childhood love, a love so special that it leaves a mark for a lifetime,” shares José Mrochek, the director of the national band. “I think we’ve all had a ‘Laura’ at some point.”

The singer-songwriter explained that the song fuses “pure emotion with nostalgia, capturing the feeling of a love that never truly fades, a connection that remains alive even as time passes.”

The music video for “Laura” reinforces the song’s theme. It was filmed in a vintage-style apartment, showing Mrochek performing the song in an intimate and reflective setting. “It’s a visual journey that amplifies the song’s message, inviting the viewer into a universe where love and memory intertwine.”

The artist stated that there are notable differences between Zanzibar and Laura. The former features catchy riffs and invites listeners to celebrate the present, while the latter shifts in rhythm and delves into deeper emotional layers. Both songs reflect Aviónica’s evolving sound, blending 80s pop-rock-inspired melodies with contemporary production.

Aviónica is the creative vision of Bolivian singer-songwriter José Mrochek. He has released two studio albums, a live album, and two EPs, gaining recognition both in Bolivia and internationally. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Andrea Echeverri, Tommy Torres, and Francisca Valenzuela.
