Rain and thunderstorms forecasted in six departments
The Senamhi issued a weather report predicting rain with thunderstorms in some departments, while others will experience high temperatures in the early days of 2025.
The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) issued the weather forecast for the beginning of 2025 this Tuesday, indicating that six departments in the country will experience rain.
The departments that may see rain with thunderstorms on January 1 are Cochabamba, Pando, Beni, Chuquisaca, Potosí, and Tarija.
One of the departments expected to experience high temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius is Cochabamba; however, it will also see scattered rain with thunderstorms.
Senamhi has also extended an orange alert until January 3 for the risk of river overflows in the departments of La Paz and Pando.

Pronostican lluvias y tormentas eléctricas en seis departamentos
El Senamhi emitió el reporte del clima donde se prevé lluvias con tormentas eléctricas en algunos departamentos, y en otros habrá temperaturas altas en los primeros días del 2025.
El Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología (Senamhi), emitió este martes el pronóstico del clima para el inicio del año 2025, donde se observa que se registrarán lluvias en seis departamentos del país.
Los departamentos donde se podrían registrar lluvias con tormentas eléctricas este 1 de enero son: Cochabamba, Pando, Beni, Chuquisaca, Potosí, Tarija.
Uno de los departamentos que registrará temperaturas altas que superarán los 30 grados centígrados es Cochabamba, sin embargo, también se registrarán lluvias dispersas con tormentas eléctricas.
El Senamhi, también mantiene vigente hasta el próximo 03 de enero, una alerta naranja por riesgo de desborde de ríos en los departamentos de La Paz y Pando.
