They suggest to coca growers “not to miss the reward”
Congresswoman Luciana Campero, from Comunidad Ciudadana (CC), suggested that the coca growers of the Chapare not miss out on the opportunity to receive the five million dollar reward offered by the United States to access information on Maximiliano Dávila and his links with drug trafficking.
“Since the coca growers of the Chapare are used to receiving compensation, like the one they received from YPFB, I suggest the coca growers not lose the reward from the United States and that they transmit information about Dávila, Evo Morales and their links with drug trafficking,” she said.
The US Department of State published a statement in which it offers compensation of the aforementioned amount to those who provide information on Maximiliano Dávila, former director of the Felcn, and his links to the trafficking of controlled substances.
Campero stated that not everyone who is involved in the production and distribution of cocaine earns like the drug lords. She pointed out that there are people who are employed by these organizations, such as the young pisacocas [coca stompers] who spread videos on social networks.
“We urge the citizens of the Chapare to provide information about those who are involved in drug trafficking. There are photos of Dávila with Evo Morales. Surely the coca growers have convincing information”, she added.
Sugieren a cocaleros «no perderse la recompensa»
La diputada Luciana Campero, de Comunidad Ciudadana (CC), sugirió a los cocaleros del Chapare no perder la oportunidad de recibir la recompensa de cinco millones de dólares, que ofrece Estados Unidos para acceder a información sobre Maximiliano Dávila y sus nexos con el narcotráfico.
“Como los cocaleros del Chapare están acostumbrados a recibir compensaciones, como la que recibieron de YPFB, les sugiero a los cocaleros no perder la recompensa de Estados Unidos y que transmitan información sobre Dávila, Evo Morales y su nexos con el narcotráfico”, señaló.
El Departamento de Estado de EEUU publicó un comunicado en el que ofrece una retribución del monto mencionado a quienes den información de Maximiliano Dávila, exdirector de la Felcn, y sus enlaces con el tráfico de sustancias controladas.
Campero manifestó que no todos los que están involucrados en la producción y distribución de cocaína ganan como los capos del narcotráfico. Señaló que hay gente que es empleada por estas organizaciones como los jóvenes pisacocas que difundieron videos en redes sociales.
“Instamos a los ciudadanos del Chapare a que den información sobre los que están involucrados con el narcotráfico. Hay fotos de Dávila con Evo Morales. Seguro los cocaleros tiene información contundente”, complementó.
