Five roads in three regions are closed due to the rains
The Bolivian Highway Administration (ABC) reported on the closure of three sections in the department of Beni, a fourth in the north of La Paz and the fifth in Santa Cruz.
In Beni, the sections closed are: the Santo Domingo-Monte Grande highway, Yucumo (access bridge) -Embocada and the Embocada -San Borja section. While in the first one an evaluation of the line is made, in the last two there are time restrictions.
Likewise, the flood of the Pikiri river was reported, which left the Antofagasta-La Enconada section impassable in the department of Santa Cruz. Another section that has been presenting problems in recent days is the highway to the Yungas, in the department of La Paz. According to the ABC report, due to a collapse, the section Carrasco (beginning of the bridge) – Entre Ríos, is impassable.
Likewise, the regional ABC La Paz reported that due to the heavy rains on the Santa Barbara-Caranavi-Quiquivey route, in the Quenallata and El Abra sectors.

La Administradora Boliviana de Carreteras (ABC) informó sobre el cierre de tres tramos en el departamento del Beni, un cuarto en el norte de La Paz y el quinto en Santa Cruz.
En Beni, los tramos cerrados son: la vía Santo Domingo-Monte Grande, Yucumo (puente de acceso)-Embocada y el tramo Embocada –San Borja. Mientras que en el primero se hace una evaluación de trazo, en los dos últimos rige una restricción de horarios.
Asimismo, se reportó la crecida del río Pikiri, que dejó intransitable el tramo Antofagasta-La Enconada en el departamento de Santa Cruz. Otro de los tramos que estuvo presentando problemas durante los últimos días es la carretera a los Yungas, en el departamento de La Paz. Según el reporte de la ABC, debido a un derrumbe, el tramo Carrasco (inicio del puente) – Entre Ríos, se encuentra intransitable.
Asimismo, la ABC regional La Paz informó que por las intensas lluvias en la ruta Santa Barbara-Caranavi-Quiquivey, en el sector Quenallata y El Abra.
