Elogio de la mentira
Ningún Gobierno ha sido más mentiroso que el del Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS), desde que tengo memoria. Por eso mismo causaba estupor cuando Evo Morales deploraba en sus discursos que alguien mintiera y afirmaba que “ama llulla” (no mentirás) era uno de los principios ancestrales de las culturas indígenas andinas y que como los otros dos (no seas ladrón y no seas ocioso) serían los pilares sobre los que surgiría el nuevo Estado Plurinacional.
No obstante, la mentira, el embuste, la falacia y el engaño, han sido las formas que Evo Morales y los masistas han impuesto en su política, y el país ha caído víctima de ese infundio. Los indígenas, campesinos, la nueva clase media, procedente de las áreas rurales, sin educación ni cultura, cayeron rendidos, absolutamente crédulos, ante el discurso de Morales y García Linera. El mal ejemplo se hizo general y llegó a capturar la justicia. De la mentira a la intriga y al acoso no hubo ninguna brecha insalvable y hoy los ciudadanos vivimos temerosos de ser acusados, sin pruebas, de toda clase de patrañas. El “fiscalato” se ha convertido en el máximo poder del Estado y cuando un individuo crítico del masismo es citado a declarar por alguna acusación, más le vale llevar su cepillo de dientes y su jabón, porque es muy probable que la maquinación mentirosa haga que le caiga encima la detención preventiva, que puede prolongarse por años.
Las mentiras del régimen masista durante tres lustros, han sido incontables. No podrían entrar en una nota periodística ni en un periódico entero. Solo con haber apresado a la expresidente Jeanine Áñez y a sus ministros y colaboradores como el exviceministro Carlos Shlink, en base a falsos testimonios, es suficiente. Aparecer después de un largo año con el cuento de que en Bolivia hubo un golpe de Estado que derribó a Morales y no un fraude escandaloso del propio Morales, causa pasmo.
Pero que las mentiras del actual gobierno boliviano se exporten y causen inquietud y malestar en países vecinos es algo intolerable. Las acusaciones a la administración de Mauricio Macri, se basan en embustes y presunciones. Surge en los archivos de la misión argentina en La Paz, una dudosa carta de un general boliviano agradeciendo al embajador platense de entonces, por la ayuda, en calidad de préstamo, de material anti disturbios. Mas en la componenda entre los actuales gobernantes bolivianos y argentinos (enemigos de Macri) acusan al unísono de un gran contrabando de armas de guerra. En vez de una cantidad de balines anti motines que pudo haberse solicitado en calidad de préstamo al país vecino, lo que es frecuente, se dice que se trataba de miles de proyectiles de uso militar y de armamento letal, que se habrían utilizado en las “masacres” de Sacaba y Senkata. Ese es un embuste y una intriga muy peligrosa. Una mentira más a que nos tienen acostumbrados los masistas.
En el caso presente, parece haberse llegado a un acuerdo sórdido: ustedes joden a Áñez con el contrabando de armas y nosotros a Macri. Hasta se ha especulado con pedir la extradición de Macri a Bolivia. Esto es, realmente, una verdadera chacota, producto de mentiras grotescas. Por supuesto que el expresidente argentino no se le moverá un nervio de la cara con la ridícula amenaza de extradición, pero el propósito es promover el escándalo aquí como en Buenos Aires. Y es así como se han llenado páginas entreras y noticieros de tele afectos al alboroto con esta maquinación aviesa, pero ridícula. Para que no falte nada, por supuesto que el ministro de Gobierno está acusando a los EEUU de haber urdido el presunto golpe, en un “plan continental”, desde mediados del 2019. Y ya quieren meter en el baile hasta a la Unión Europea y Brasil. ¿Pero qué telenovela es esta?
Los actuales gobernantes en Bolivia, los parlamentarios y sobre todo los fiscales y jueces, deberían ser conscientes de que en este país el poder es efímero. Que cambia como cambió en noviembre del 2019 cuando cundió el pánico entre los incondicionales de Morales. En algún momento, no sabemos exactamente cuándo, se dará vuelta la tortilla y esta vez el “fiscalato”, obediente y cómplice al poder masista, pasará a ser acusado por sus perversiones, sus miembros irán a purgar sus penas alegando inocencia, y se borrarán de la Carta Magna las tramposas elecciones judiciales que han aniquilado la normativa jurídica nacional.

Praise of the lie
No government has been more of a liar than that of the Movement for Socialism (MAS), for as long as I can remember. That is why it caused astonishment when Evo Morales deplored in his speeches that someone was lying and affirmed that “ama llulla” (you will not lie) was one of the ancestral principles of Andean indigenous cultures and that like the other two (don’t be a thief and don’t be idle) would be the pillars on which the new Plurinational State would emerge.
However, lies, scams, fallacies and deception have been the forms that Evo Morales and the masistas have imposed on their politics, and the country has fallen victim to that infundity. The indigenous people, the peasants, the new middle class, coming from rural areas, without education or culture, fell asleep, absolutely credulous, before the speech of Morales and García Linera. The bad example became general and came to capture justice. From lies to intrigue and harassment there was no insurmountable gap and today citizens live in fear of being accused, without evidence, of all kinds of hoaxes. The “prosecutor” has become the highest power of the State and when an individual critical of the masismo is summoned to testify for an accusation, it is better for him to bring his toothbrush and soap, because it is very likely that the lying plot will make Pre-trial detention, which can last for years, befall him.
The lies of the masista regime for three decades have been countless. They could not enter a newspaper article or an entire newspaper. Just having arrested former President Jeanine Áñez and her ministers and her collaborators such as former Vice Minister Carlos Shlink, based on false testimonies, is enough. Appearing after a long year with the story that in Bolivia there was a coup that overthrew Morales and not a scandalous fraud by Morales himself, causes astonishment.
But that the lies of the current Bolivian government are exported and cause concern and discomfort in neighboring countries is something intolerable. The accusations against the Mauricio Macri administration are based on lies and presumptions. In the archives of the Argentine mission in La Paz, a dubious letter from a Bolivian general thanking the then Argentine ambassador for the help, on loan, of anti-riot material appears. But in the compromise between the current Bolivian and Argentine rulers (enemies of Macri) they accuse in unison of a great smuggling of weapons of war. Instead of a quantity of anti-riot pellets that could have been requested as a loan from the neighboring country, which is frequent, it is said that they were thousands of projectiles for military use and lethal weapons, which would have been used in the “massacres” of Sacaba and Senkata. That is a very dangerous lie and intrigue. One more lie to which the masistas are accustomed.
In the present case, a sordid agreement seems to have been reached: you screw Áñez with arms smuggling and we screw Macri. There has even been speculation about asking for Macri’s extradition to Bolivia. This is, really, a true mockery, product of grotesque lies. Of course, the former Argentine president will not move a nerve in his face with the ridiculous threat of extradition, but the purpose is to promote the scandal here as in Buenos Aires. And this is how full pages and TV news and related to the uproar have been filled with this malicious, but ridiculous, plot. So that nothing is missing, of course the Minister of Government is accusing the United States of having contrived the alleged coup, in a “continental plan,” since mid-2019. And they already want to put even the European Union in the dance and Brazil. But what soap opera is this?
The current rulers in Bolivia, the parliamentarians and especially the prosecutors and judges, should be aware that in this country power is ephemeral. That changes as it changed in November 2019 when the panic spread among Morales’ stalwarts. At some point, we do not know exactly when, the omelette will turn around and this time the “prosecutor,” obedient and an accomplice to the masista power, will be accused of its perversions, its members will purge their sentences claiming innocence, and will be erased of the Magna Carta the tricky judicial elections that have annihilated the national legal regulations.
