The delegation is made up of deputies and senators from Comunidad Ciudadana and Creemos.
A mixed delegation of legislators from Comunidad Ciudadana (CC) and Creemos traveled to the United States to denounce political persecution of opponents. They are expected to meet with representatives of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), the Organization of American States (OAS), and other organizations.
“We consider this trip of high importance and we seek only respect for human rights and their guarantees, within the international democratic sphere,” said Senator Centa Rek from Creemos on Monday.
The parliamentarians will address five points: denounce the execution of “illegal actions” and arbitrary persecution of opposition leaders, police, military and other civil society people; the dependence of the Judicial Organ before the central level of the State, the violation of the democratic order, the creation of the narrative of the supposed coup d’état and the elimination of two thirds in the Legislative Assembly for 11 procedures.
The deputy of the same acronym Erwin Bazán indicated that to make these events known they will carry supporting documentation. This material will be delivered at the main meetings held with high commissioners of international organizations.
“This caucus carries the force of the word and with abundant material on the violations of human rights, due process and the breakdown of the democratic order. We are going to deliver it in the main meetings that we will hold with international authorities, to show the world what is happening in Bolivia,” he said.

Una delegación mixta de legisladores de Comunidad Ciudadana (CC) y Creemos viajó a Estados Unidos para denunciar persecución política de opositores. Se tiene previsto que se reúnan con representantes de la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (CIDH), Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA) y otros organismos.
“Consideramos de alta importancia este viaje y buscamos sólo el respeto a los derechos humanos y sus garantías, dentro del ámbito democrático internacional”, señaló este lunes la senadora de Creemos, Centa Rek.
Los parlamentarios tratarán cinco puntos: denunciar la ejecución de “acciones ilegales” y arbitrarias de persecución a líderes opositores, policías, militares y otras personas de sociedad civil; la dependencia del Órgano Judicial ante el nivel central de Estado, la vulneración al orden democrático, la creación de la narrativa del supuesto golpe de Estado y la eliminación de los dos tercios en la Asamblea Legislativa para 11 procedimientos.
El diputado de la misma sigla Erwin Bazán indicó que para dar a conocer estos hechos llevarán documentación de respaldo. Este material será entregado en las principales reuniones que tengan con altos comisionados de los organismos internacionales.
“Esta bancada lleva la fuerza de la palabra y con abundante material de las violaciones a los derechos humanos, al debido proceso y la ruptura del orden democrático. Lo vamos a entregar en las principales reuniones que sostendremos con autoridades internacionales, para mostrar al mundo lo que está sucediendo en Bolivia”, manifestó.
