Scientists on an expedition in Bolivia have identified more than 1,000 varieties of butterflies living in Madidi National Park, a New Jersey-sized protected area considered to be the most biodiverse in the world.

I considered myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit the Madidi, it is SO great! Although is in more peril than before, since this coca grower who functions as president, wants to build a dam … let alone promote crops like coca and sugar cane … a complete disaster to this wonderful environment!
