El Deber reports:
MUSICIAN
Jaime Laredo was reunited with the Bolivian public
It took over 30 years for the Bolivian violinist Jaime Laredo, to again be performing in a scenario of the country and so the concert he gave on Wednesday night [08/06/2014] at the Teatro Municipal Alberto Saavedra, La Paz, was considered a historic event.
As expected, the famed violinist was joined on stage by pianist Ana Maria Vera and by his wife, American cellist Sharon Robinson, plus the orchestra Bolivia Classic Foundation, which directs Vera.
In the concert there was a premiere of two orchestral arrangements of songs Collita by Fernando Román and Viva my patria Bolivia [live my country Bolivia], by Apolinar Camacho.
Next Saturday [08/09/2014] will perform again at the Michael Donahue theater, Calvert school in La Paz, and on August 13 in Cochabamba, while his performance in Santa Cruz de la Sierra is scheduled for August 20.
