For better or worse, today is the day Bolivia will try to make its claim regarding a sea-coast in the Pacific. The OAS will hear both countries and hopefully will make a statement.

Bolivia wants to gain support from most of LA countries while Chile wants to keep this issue as bilateral. As a Bolivian, I hope this can push both countries to negotiate an amicable agreement. A win-win situation is a must on behalf of South America’s relationships.
